Delete your LEAR account and data
LEAR: Finance Calculators is published by Global Intercultural Consulting LLC. This page explains how to ask us to delete your LEAR account, what we erase, and what we are required to keep.
How to request deletion

From the app
Open LEAR, go to the Account tab, and tap “Delete account & data”. Confirm the prompt and your request is sent to our support team from the address on your account.

By email
Email support@learonline.com from the address you signed up with, using the subject “LEAR account deletion request”. We verify the request comes from the account holder before erasing anything.

From this website
Use the contact form on our support page and choose “Support” as the topic. Tell us you want your account deleted and include the email address on the account.
What we delete
Once we confirm the request, we permanently erase:
- Your account and profile — name, email address, and phone number
- Saved projects, deals, and every calculation run stored against them
- Generated reports, their PDFs, and any share links you created
- Team membership, invitations, seat records, and team branding you uploaded
- AI assistant conversation history
- Product analytics events and push notification tokens tied to your account
What we keep, and for how long
A small amount of data survives deletion because the law requires it:
- Payment and transaction records — order identifiers, amounts, dates, and tax data — kept for 7 years to satisfy US tax and accounting obligations. These records are not used to contact you or to rebuild your account.
- Records we must retain to resolve a billing dispute, prevent fraud, or comply with a legal request, kept only for as long as that purpose lasts.
- Aggregate, anonymised usage statistics that carry no identifier and cannot be traced back to you.
How long it takes
- We acknowledge every request within 5 business days.
- Your account and the data listed above are erased within 30 days of us verifying the request.
- Residual copies in encrypted backups are overwritten on our regular backup cycle, within 90 days at the latest.
Delete data without closing your account
You do not have to close your LEAR account to erase what you have stored. Deleting a project removes it, every calculation run saved against it, and the reports generated from it — immediately and permanently, with no request needed.

Delete a project yourself
Open the project in the LEAR app or on the website, choose Delete, and confirm. The project, its calculation history, and its reports are erased straight away.

Ask us to clear a category
Email support@learonline.com with the subject “LEAR data deletion request” and name what you want removed — for example all projects, all reports, or your AI assistant history. Send it from the address on your account so we can verify it.
Your account, sign-in details, and subscription stay active, so you can keep using LEAR. Payment records are retained for 7 years as described above; everything else you ask us to clear is erased within 30 days, and backup copies are overwritten within 90 days.
